Imphal, June 29: Combine team of Thoubal District Police Commando and 2nd Assam Rifles arrested an 2nd lieutenant of proscribed group KYKL at around 9 am today. The arrested person has been identified as Thoudam Bisheswor @Ricky @Ibungo (32) S/o late Th. Tomba of Thounaojam Mamang leikai of Khongjom near Slope land high school.
A police source said that the person joined the outfit in 2000 through one Simon of Umathel and underwent basic military training at Khongyon (Chandel dist.) under army no. 385 of 11th batch.
He had been handed over to Khongjom Police station.
