A timer bomb was found at the road side of Tumukhong Moirangpurel of Imphal East district today. The bomb was first noticed by 39 BSF of Moirangpurel at around 7:45 am.
Later, a team of Manipur Police who rushed to the spot safely defused the bomb at around 12:20 pm.
Meanwhile, another bomb was also recovered at the residence of one Atim (46) wife of Akhom of Koirengai near CMC hospital at around 6 am today morning.
