Troops of 25 Madras Regiment apprehended a PREPAK cadre along with 2 demand letters during a search operation conducted on April 21 at Torbung area in Churachandpur district. The arrested cadre has been identified as Tomba Singh @ Nongkhakpa (age 29) son of Bidhu of Torbung, Churachandpur. According to Army source the arrested cadre received training at Mon district in Nagaland in batch number 37. His army number is 3715.
