Lesson learnt, but way to go

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh serious concern to the lesson taught to human race is remarkable. Every citizen need to ponder on what the Chief Minister had stated while giving speech in connection with the COVID-19 vaccine in the state. The Chief Minister had rightly stated that this virus has taught a lesson, it didn’t allow mother to meet her own child, and it didn’t allowed a son to serve his father when in dead bed.
The dreaded killer virus “Corona”, which have haunted the entire human kinds knows no casts, creed, reach, poor or young or old people. The virus does not care whether it is a female of male, neither it cares on whether the person belong to Hindu, Muslims, Sikhs, Sanamahi, or Christian or say any person following any religion. It attacked all human kind. It is now over one year that the killer virus keeps all human kind to extreme difficult times.
Today, human effort had shown hope of defeating the unseen enemy. India is all set to vaccinate its people to ensure protection from the virus. And as per report the vaccine Covishield , a product approved by the government that was invented by the Serum Institute of India , Pune, today have started making its way to all the states and Union Territories of India. Well and good ,if it works and still good in seeing the effort. This atleast has created a hope for restoration of human kinds.
If suppose, the new vaccine defeats the dreaded virus with the invention of the vaccine, can we assume that human being wins the war with the unseen virus. Well, defeating the virus but restoring the society with more divisions among people creating more enemies between different countries across the globe, can be certainly a synonymous as saying that the virus may have been thrown out but the aftermath may be a more chaotic and divided society among the poor and rich people.
Well, leaving aside other countries which is facing similar crisis due to the COVID-19 invasion, the world witness India taken up the most extreme measures to make sure that the people remain safe from the virus. Over 90 days of total lockdown to the entire countries and later resuming life by enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), India authority had tried everything. The SOPs directed people to use face mask while coming out of home as compulsory and people without face mask have been fined. People are asked to maintain social distancing at any places and to sanitize hands whenever possible, and for that strict measures have been taken up at many places. But where actually are these SOPs being checked.
In Delhi’s Chandani Chowk, the largest commercial hubs of the country’s national capital, it seems like nothing such as the COVID-19 exists. Almost all shops and business establishment have been opened and the streets are crowded with pedestrians, some with face masks and many without it. Sanitizers are not seen at almost all shops there where common people gathered. People traveling at these sites of the National capital are not checked whether they are wearing masks or not. The scene at the other side of the National Capital where rich people live was different. Extreme measures for containment of virus were scene taken up. Police are seen checking those people travelling or walking without masks and fine them if found not following the SOPs.
The same is with all states or union territories. No SOPs provided are followed at any of the state during election time. Those gathered were all common men and the VVIPs were seen protected during campaign while common men are not checked, by not even enforcing the social distance as per SOPs. We have seen when Union Home Minister organised rally at Bengal and Telengana and we have also seen the same during by-election here in the state of Manipur.
The purpose for writing this piece is to question on whether the so call leaders of today have learn lesson from the COVID-19 pandemic. Or whether this invasion is going to benefit the so all leaders in diving the social stratum. When the virus does not make differences among the human being why the human kinds still continue to play the communal cards? Why only those selected site where rich people stay have been on priority for containment of the virus when areas where daily wage earners are let free by not making them aware of the pandemic?
The reality is that even after the virus had taught so many lessons, we the human kinds still seems not learn what it has taught us.
