“Your president is very rude”, this is what a young journalist told a state unit BJP worker minutes after the Home Minister Rajnath Singha left BJP complex yesterday. The journalist was referring to the attitude of the State unit BJP president Th. Chaoba who had aggressively tried to push the journalist out while she was trying to question the Home Minister. In civilized society VVIP or VIP have so much respect for journalist that they spare their busy scheduled and answer to the queries made by the reporters. Sometime, the body guard tried to prevent journalist from approaching the VVIP as they were instructed to do so, but no party leader had ever stopped any journalist from doing so. But in the state of Manipur the state unit president had climbed down by being a bodyguard to the Home Minister, who is also a leader of the BJP.
‘Arrogant’ was what critics said the reason for the defeat of the BJP in the just concluded Delhi Assembly election. There may have been other factors which lead to such humiliating defeat for the BJP which is in power at the central government, but arrogant attitude of the BJP workers and representative is also one factor for the defeat.
The BJP has no MLAs in the Manipur state legislative Assembly, but it is becoming one of the most powerful political opponent of the ruling congress party in the state assembly. With the concerns of the central leadership the party is spreading far and wide across the state hoping as the only alternative which can replace the congress party.
However, the attitude of the BJP workers is likely to thwart the aspiration of the people of the state. The party functionary should be very kind and friendly to the people particularly the media persons if they really like to get support from the people. The very nature of the state unit BJP showed that their interest is the power and not for the interest of the general public. If those joining the BJP have hope to replace the Congress government in the upcoming Manipur Legislative Assembly in 2017, such aggressive attitude should not be repeated.
Change your Attitude BJP if want to replace Congress Govt. in Manipur

it is of great concern when all hooligans are leading the party….just imagine their attitudes…they are on the verge of allegation and charging against anyone..without realising their own conducts…..
