Difficulties in the way of admission for medical and engineering studies

It is an irony in itself that a hard working student should be denied admission to a course just because the rules have been bypassed and some other students have been given space. In such a situation, not only the rights of students who are denied admission are violated, but neglect of talent also takes root as a widespread problem. Apart from this, if some students are given wrong place by bypassing the prescribed procedure of admission, then this silent system will prove to be harmful for the country and society at a far-reaching level.
Perhaps this is the reason why the Delhi High Court has clearly said that lakhs of students work hard to get admission in educational institutions on the basis of merit, so now is the time to stop the practice of backdoor admission in such institutions. . The court dismissed an appeal in this context by five students who were admitted by the LN Medical College Hospital and Research Center in Bhopal without attending the centralized counseling conducted by the Medical Education Department.
Thus, there is a system of admission in all government and private medical colleges of the country only through centralized counseling system on the basis of NEET exam result. The Supreme Court has also issued directions in this regard. On this basis, the Medical Council of India had issued letters related to cancellation of admission of the five students concerned in April, 2017 itself. Even after that, it was pointed out several times. But surprisingly, neither those students nor the medical college saw the need to look into them.
The college also allowed these students to appear in the examinations and proceed further. The question is that the management of the college which can deny admission to any student due to lapse in a single point in the prescribed procedure, how did he give admission to the institute through the back door by ignoring the rules in such an important matter! Not only this, not only did the students not give importance to the letter of Medical Council of India canceling their admission, but despite repeated attention the institute did not find it necessary to take any action in this regard! As a result, those students lost a crucial four years of their lives.
In fact, a chain of private and government institutions has been set up across the country for the study of medical and engineering. There is a prescribed procedure for admission in these and according to this, students get a place every year. But in parallel with this, such questions have also been raised that in some institutions, in exchange for a huge amount in the name of fees or donation, admission is also done by defying the rules and procedure.
The brunt of this has to be borne by those students, who have prepared very hard and are excellent on the test of talent. Medha has to bear the direct loss of admission or job in any institute through the back door, it is also against the law. Sadly, despite the clear directions of the courts and the due process, the managements of some institutions indulge in such malpractices at their own level, at the cost of which the meritorious students have to pay.
