The Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM) has welcomed the Employment Exchange Department’s decision to introduce an online system for sponsorship against notified government vacancies, saying it fulfils a long-pending demand raised by the Council.
In a statement, TYCM said the department, through a notification issued on July 20, announced that sponsorship of candidates and issuance of Employment Seeking Certificates will be carried out exclusively through the E-Seba Manipur Portal (www.esebamanipur.mn.gov.in) from July 24. The services will be available only through new X-10 Cards generated on the portal, while X-10 Cards issued through the previous portal will become invalid from the same date.
The Council said it had earlier urged the Employment Exchange Department to introduce an online sponsorship system, citing the hardships faced by job seekers, particularly in the hill districts, where transportation disruptions and security concerns have made inter-district travel difficult.
