Imphal, June 15: RIMS Blood Donors’ Community has organised a blood donation camp on the occasion of World Blood Donors’ Day at Blood Transfusion Department on June 14 last. The camp was carried out under the theme “What Can You Do? Give Blood, Give Now Give Often.” Altogether 155 individuals including 40 females donated blood on the occasion. Medical Superintendent of RIMS, Dr Ch Arunkumar and head of department of blood transfusion Professor A Barindra were the chief guest and president respectively at the gathering while Dr L Trinity was the convenor of the dias. Eleven persons, who include staffs of RIMS were presented mementos and certificates for their feat of giving blood more than 10 times.
