Imphal, April 5:  The talent of budding artists found a vent at painting competition organised by Tamei Battalion at Apou Kading High School, Tamei. A total of 110 school going girls participated in the competition.  
“My Manipur : Pride of India” & “Women : The Nurturers of Nature” were the themes for competition.  Children between the age group of 10 to 16 years participated in the event.  Children enjoyed the competition & painted the canvas with their wild imagination.  The paintings were a perfect gauge into children’s mind, that laid out all the wonderful dreams on canvas.  The two hour long competition was concluded with a much awaited tea party for the kids.  The results of the competition will be declared on 7th of April 2017 along with results for Volleyball Tournament at Tamei.  According to accompanying teachers, “This event was a much awaited one amongst the school girls, who were pondering over the themes of competition since the time of registrations.”  This competition has now become a much loved annual event, organised by Tamei Battalion, which all kids at school yearn to participate.
