Imphal March 17: Renowned guitarist Neil Zaza of United States is going to give live performance in Imphal on April 16, 2015.
Revealing this to media persons during a press meet held at Manipur Press Club, Shem-Rah, founder of Seven Sisters Entertainment, the organizer of the event in association with Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) and Tribal Research Institute (TRI), said that the event will create awareness on HIV/AIDS and Drug Abuse. He further said that the concept behind the event is to build a bridge between local artist and international artists.
Neil Zaza, a melodic instrumental guitarist from United States, became a well known guitarist for his technical accuracy and adaptation of classical works by Bach and Mozart into his own blend of neo-classical, melodic, guitar instrumentals. Before starting solo career, he formed a rock band ZAZA in 1987 and released an album called Party with the Big Boys in 1991.
