Colleges and University teachers take mass casual leave on World Teachers’ Day

Imphal, Oct 5: Teachers of Universities and Colleges across the country took mass casual leave today instead of celebrating the World Teachers’ Day under the initiative of All India Federation of College and University Teachers’ Association (AIFUCTO) demanding improvement of service condition for teachers, pension scheme, to allow refreshers and orientation course upto 2016 and to modify National Education Policy.
Teachers of Kha Manipur College Kakching also joined the protest by staging protest demonstration besides taking mass casual leave.
