Imphal, July 12: Locals of Senapati District today staged a mass rally condemning the bomb blast inside the Deputy Commissioner’s office complex of Senapati, Manipur on Monday night.
The mass rally began from around 9 am today morning from Senapati Mini Stadium and continued till Senapati District Council office complex.
Later, more than 2000 locals took part at a public meeting organised at the Senapati Mini Stadium from where the mass rally was kicked off.
It is known that the IED blast occurred at the ground floor inside the office room of the planning section of DC office main building where no one was injured except for some damage to the wall and windowpanes of the building.
Meanwhile, NSCN (K) Shepoumaramth Region has already claimed responsibility for the blast as the last warning to the Deputy Commissioner and her co-coordinating officers for not meeting their demand that had been neglected for so long against the Government who sacrificed their lives for the sacred cause of the Naga sovereignty.
