Motor Cycle Rally kick off as part of the International Yoga Day Celebration

Imphal, June 11: As part of the International Yoda Day observance, a Mega Motor Cycle rally was carried out today from Kakching to Serou as a awareness campaign which is organised by Prajapita Brahna Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya Kakching since May 21 and will continue till June 21, 2017.
The Rally was flagged off by Retd IGP Mayanglambam Sushilkumar from Brahma Kumaris, Peace Palace Kakching of Kakching Wairi Khongnang Lamtei.
Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Nilima, in-charge of Brahma Kumaris Manipuri, Brahma Kumari Rupa, in-charge of Brahma Kumaris Kakching and other officials took part in the flagged off.
Speaking on the sideline of the rally, Nilima, in-charge of Brahma Kumaris of Manipur expressed the rally is organised to give awareness and usefulness of Yoga for the month long international yoga day observance by by Prajapita Brahna Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya Kakching from May 2 to June 21, 2017 as part of the International Yoga Day celebration.
Nilima spoke on the benefits of practicing yoga on a regular basis as it transforms the body and mind bringing the physical, mental and spiritual for our own benefit. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with oneself, the world and the nature. It also embodies unity of mind and body, thought and action and a holistic approach to health and well-being,  she added.
Street meeting was also held at Wabagai Lamkhai, Lamjao, Langmeidong, Waikhong and Sugnu, etc.
Later, International Yoga Day was also observed at Serou Mayai Leikai Community Hall which was attended by Moirangthem Sarat, Chairperson of Sugnu Municipal Council; Salam Naobicha, Pradhan of Serou Gram Panchayat; Athokpam Romendro Singh, SDPO of Sugnu and Kh Sundari Devi, Principal of Padma Ratna English School, Kakching as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Nilima, in-charge of Brahma Kumaris Manipuri, Brahma Kumari Rupa, in-charge of Brahma Kumaris Kakching were the special guest and host of the event.
