Imphal, may 23: Result of the Class XII examination conducted by the Council of Higher secondary Education Manipur was declared today. Total passed percentage this year is 98.8 %. In Arts stream a total of 6322 candidates appeared and 4416 passed, in Science stream a total of 19252 candidate appeared and 13198 candidate passed and in commerce stream 565 candidate appeared of which 373 got through.
In Arts stream Ngangom Jinita of Enlighten Knowledge Hr. Sec School, Sangakpham, d/o Ng Ongbui Sanatombi Devi and Ng Churchil Singh of Nambol Maibam Chingmang Bishnupaur District tops by scoring a total mark of 454. Guneshwori Nongmaithem from the same school, d/o N Bineshwori Devi and N Shanta Kumar of Kumbi Terakha in Bishnupur district stood second position by scoring a total mark of 439. And Thokpam Dolenchandra of the same school stood third position by scoring a total mark of 437. He is the son of Th. Bimola devi and Th Shanta of Pungdongbam Awang Leikai, Imphal East.
In science stream Gurumayum Gopalkrishna Sharma of Inspire Science Academy, Ghari s/o g. (o) Ajita Devi and G. Gajendra Sharma of Lairikyengbam Leikai top in this years examinarion. He score a total of 483 mark.
Rajkumari Babysana Millennium Institute of Sciences, Sagolband Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi d/o R.K. (o) Kunjarashi Devi Rajkumar Tikensana of Khurai Puthiba Leikai stood second position with a total score of 472 mark. Another student Takhellambam Jayananda Singh Millennium Institute of sciences, Sagolband Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi s/o T. (o) Lata Devi T. Gunamani Singh of Thoubal Achouba opp. AOC Thoubal also score the same mark and share the second position. Victoria Ngangbam Millennium Institute Of Sciences, Sagolband Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi D/O Anoubam Kiranmala Devi Ngangbam Bonobir Singh of Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai stood third position by scoring a total mark of 468.
In Commerce stream Shap Makan Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School (Arts & Commerce), Maram. S/O Wonringla Makan Tharmi of Makan Koso, P O Shanshak, Ukhrul Dist., Manipur tops by scoring 369 Vinod Thakur Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School (Arts & Commerce), Maram. S/O Sita Devi Harinder Thakur of Shangshak, Ukhrul Dist., Manipur stood second position bu scoring 354 mark.
