Manipur team departs for 2nd National Indoor Football Championship in Goa

A team from the Manipur State Indoor Football Association departed Imphal today for Goa to participate in the 2nd National Indoor Football Championship in Panaji. The championship will commence tomorrow and conclude the following day.
Association Secretary Kiran Yendrenbam informed the media that the team comprises 15 members, including players, a manager, and a coach. He stated that if the Manipur team wins, they will advance to the Indo-Nepal International Indoor Football Tournament. The team was flagged off by Wangkhemcha Shyamjai, Chief Editor of Kangleipakki Meira, with Jit Ningomba, Chief Editor of Elite TV, also in attendance.
Kiran added that the players will don black uniforms and black ribbons on their arms to draw attention to the issues facing the state due to the ongoing conflict.
