Assam Rifles Conducts Friendly Volleyball Match

Tulihal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the ae begis of IGAR (South) conducted a friendly Volleyball match at Nambol Company Operating Base (COB) on Yesterday
With an aim to further strengthen the bond and mutual trust between locals and Security Forces, the volleyball match was played between the teams of Kamong Youth Club and troops of Nambol COB. Both the teams played with great zeal and enthusiasm and displayed great sportsmanship during the course of the match. The match was followed by tea and refreshments for all.
The players and the locals appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles for organising the sports event and recurrently taking such initiatives for maintaining healthy environment. They also requested to conduct more such events for promoting sports in future as well.
