The Famous Imphal Goldsmith

By – Leishemba Loushambam
Ema, Can I be an Indian?
I dislike the face of the Imphal Goldsmith,
The famous Goldsmith,
Whose work is all over the newspaper this morning.
I wish to pour hot Indian chai over the newspaper this morning.
I wish all his fake golds melts and the crowd realises.

Ema, Can I be an Indian?
I dislike the brush he uses,
I dislike how he paint them over iron to make it gold,
I dislike how he attract real golds in between the masses of fake ones,
I dislike how he becomes famous.
