The long and silent street,
That I have walked
To reach my destination.
Has took me to a place
Where everything is dark,
Calm and peace.
Not sure what to do next,
I decided to step back.
Suddenly a light flashed,
Behind me.
Indicating hope,
Trust and faith.
I decided to step forward.
Surprisingly,
I found my dreams and goals
That I have been waiting,
For a very long period of time.
This taught me a lesson.
Not to step back in life,
And not to lose hope.
Because someday
A light will shine in our life.
