SUK celebrates 11th Foundation Day

The Students’ Union of Kangleipak (SUK) celebrated its 11th foundation day with president Dhanakumar Ningthouja unfurling the Union’s flag at the head office at 9 a.m. and the formal function held at Meipan Banquet Hall palace compound. Kh Joykishan, MLA of Thangmeiband assembly constituency, Dhanakumar Ningthouja, President SUK, Dr Chingbam Sarat, Chairman COHSEM, and Jeetendra Ningomba, President CCSK attended the foundation day as Chief Guest and Guest of Honor, respectively.
SUK observed a seven-day-long tree plantation at different schools (private, government, and higher secondary) and also held blood donations at RIMS . As a part of the 11st foundation day, SUK organised an open debating competition on the topic “ Manipur Da Drug ki Mahum Saribasi Leingakki Thourag Thousil Mapung Phadabagini” which was held at Maharaja Chandrakirti Auditorium on September 17th. On this foundation day, prizes were also distributed, the first prize carries a sum of Rupees thirty thousand , second a sum of Rupees twenty thousand, and third, Rupees ten thousand prizes, each with a certificate and memento. Consolation prizes were also given to the 4 to 10 participants, and also distributed to the students who participated in the SUK competition.
