Spot Painting Competition and Panel discussion held in Kakching

A Spot Painting Competition and Panel Discussion on the theme “Is Kakching’s Urban Future Compatible with the Preservation of Ethei Loukhong and Agricultural Land?” was held today at the Auditorium Hall of the Library and Information Centre, Kakching. The event was jointly organised by the United Kakching Students (UNIKAS), Delhi, and the Delhi Kakching Society (DeKS).
Speaking at the event, Bonit Naorem, President of UNIKAS, stated that the spot painting competition was held in two categories: students up to Class VI participated under the theme “Save Environment”, while students from Class VII to X painted on the theme “Role of Youth in Society.”
The panel discussion was joined by P. Somarendra, Advisor of the Joint Non-Government Voluntary Organisation Kakching; M. Brojen, President of the United Clubs Organisation; Ksh. Surjit, Secretary of ADAM; Y. Achouba, President of the Kakching Ethei Committee; and Nongmaithem Manichandra, a member of the Delhi Kakching Society, moderated the session.
