Special Outreach Health Camp held at Yaiskul

The District Health Mission Society, Imphal West, in collaboration with UPHC Singjamei and Yaiskul Volunteers’ Organisation (YVO), organised a special outreach health camp today at Brahmamayum Mandop, Yaiskul Moibunglokpa Leikai.
The camp provided eye, medicine, and general health check-ups, along with children’s vaccinations. ABHA card processing was also carried out as part of the programme.
Speaking at the camp, Dr. N. Haraba, MO in-charge of UPHC Singjamei, said that the initiative was organised with the objective of bringing healthcare facilities closer to the people at their localities, thereby ensuring accessibility and reducing the need for patients to travel to hospitals. He added that the outreach camp served as an important platform to extend available health services to the community.
