The 1st and 2nd batch B.Sc Nursing graduates of Shija Academy of Nursing were felicitated today at the Langol Laimanai Apunba Community Hall, SAHD auditorium.
The ceremony honored the academy’s graduates, faculty members, and parents who came together to celebrate this milestone. Dignitaries present included Prof. W. Chandbabu Singh, Registrar, Manipur University; Dr. Kh. Palin, Chairman and Managing Director, SHRI; Dr. M. Amuba Singh, Director, Shija Academy of Health Sciences; Dr. A. Jamuna Devi, Registrar, Manipur Nursing Council; Thokchom Suresh Singh, Secretary, Shija Foundation; Prof. Ch. Ibohal Meitei, President, Shija Foundation; and Ch. Babita Devi, Principal, Shija Academy of Nursing.
In his address, Prof. W. Chandbabu Singh emphasized the critical role of nurses in today’s conflict-ridden world. He highlighted that the graduating nurses are now equipped to serve society with dedication and resilience. He encouraged the graduates to contribute meaningfully to health sectors across different regions and bring pride to Manipur by upholding the high standards of the nursing profession.
Dr. Kh. Palin remarked that the Shija Academy of Nursing is committed to advancing healthcare through quality education. He acknowledged the essential role of nurses in healthcare and expressed confidence in the graduates’ ability to excel in their field while delivering compassionate care.
During the ceremony, certificates were presented to the 55 graduating students, including 8 male and 47 female nurses, who successfully completed their B.Sc Nursing program.
