Imphal, June 26:
A coordinated security operation involving the CDO Unit Kakching, Waikhong PS team, and a platoon of A-126 Bn BSF was conducted today in the Elangkhangpokpi Mamang and Mayai Leikai areas from 6:45 am to 8:15 am.
Led by Binoy Chongtham MPS (Addl SP Ops Kakching District), with assistance from Sub. S. Birla Singh (OC- CDO Kakching District Unit) and Inspector M. Jakaur Rahaman (OC- Waikhong PS), the operation was supervised by Shree Thokchom Vikramjit Singh MPS, Superintendent of Police Kakching District, Manipur.
During the operation, a total of 60 houses were searched, and identities of 200 individuals were verified. Despite the thorough search, no arrests were made, and no recoveries were reported.
This operation underscores ongoing efforts by local authorities to maintain security and ensure public safety in Kakching District.
