A One Day Discourse on “Manipuri Literature and Culture” was conducted today at the Ideal Girls’ College, Akampat, Imphal-East.
Professor Nahakpam Aruna, Dean, School of Humanities, Manipur University and Dr. Waikhom Romesh, Assistant Professor in Manipuri, Ghanapriya Women’s College, Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal respectively were the key resource persons of the function. Faculty and research scholars from different institutions of the state attended the programme. L. Iboyaima Singh, Principal, Ideal Girls’ College, Akampat presided over the function. The lectures were followed by a lively interaction session.
The programme was organised by the Department of Manipuri under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), of the college.
