The Media and IT Cell of the National People’s Party (NPP), Manipur State Unit organised a social media workshop at the party’s state office in Mantripukhri today to promote responsible and effective use of digital platforms.
The workshop was attended by party workers and supporters and was graced by NPP Manipur State Unit President Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze, National People’s Women’s Front Vice-President Elena Longjam and Women’s Front State President Nonibala Sapam.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Pfoze highlighted the growing role of social media in communication and public engagement. He said social media can serve as an effective tool for information dissemination and awareness when used responsibly, while cautioning against its misuse, which could create misunderstanding and division in society.
The workshop focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of social media platforms and encouraging ethical and constructive digital engagement.
