Organised by Samagra Shiksha under ZEO Pherzawl, ‘Awareness & Training Programme’ on Nipun Bharat (FLN) & Community Mobilization was held on 2nd September 2022 at DTC Hall, Churachandpur.
A short video on Nipun Bharat (FLN) was showcased alongside the launching event, Joseph Pauline Kamson, DC Pherzawl in his speech emphasises the need for capacity building and motivation of teachers. Such an Awareness & Training Programme would develop and strengthen the skills, and abilities of the teachers which would go a long way in enhancing the educational system in the district, maintain the DC.
He further mentioned that Nipun Bharat is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India with an aim to ensure every child in the country necessarily attains foundational literacy and numeracy at the primary level by 2026-27.
The programme was attended by a group of stakeholders in the District – heads of relevant educational institutions, resource persons and other District Officers. The programme was coordinated by Hemchand Yumnam, ZEO, Pherzawl.
