Lion Club of Oinam inaugurated; Lions Clubs install new board for 2025–26 term

A formal function was held at Oinam Public Hall in Bishnupur district to inaugurate the newly formed Leo Club of Oinam and install the 2025–26 Board of Directors of Lions Club of Oinam and Lions Club of Nambol, under Lions Club International District 322D.
The event was graced by PMJF Lion Th. Kesho Singh, Immediate Past District Governor of Lions International District 322D, as chief guest. Lion Abujam Premabati Devi, President of Lions Club of Nambol; Lion Dr. Thingbaijam Swarankumar Singh, President of Lions Club of Oinam; and Zone Chairperson Ph. Surendra also attended as special guests.
PMJF Lion Th. Kesho officially inaugurated the Leo Club of Oinam and addressed the gathering, encouraging the newly inducted members to take up community-oriented service activities. He also administered the oath to the newly appointed board members of Lions Clubs Oinam and Nambol for the 2025–26 term.
He highlighted that both Lions Clubs are crucial branches of a global organisation dedicated to humanitarian service. The formation of the Leo Club, as a youth wing, is a significant step in grooming future leaders and ensuring the continuity of Lionism through active youth participation and mentorship.
