A statement by the Media Coordinator of proscribed group PREPAK (Pro) said that two person that the police stated to have been arrested identified as Moirangthem Sanajaoba Meitei and Takhellambam Johnson (32) may have been left own while trying to portray as actors of the Surrender Drama.
The statement said that there should be an FIR for any case of Surrender. There have been cases of Judge not accepting 7 surrendered person accused of criminal activities as no FIR had been lodge against them in Bangalore.
The police are using revolutionary cadres who have already retired to demand monetary assistance so that an FIR can be filed against them. They’re also used in surrender dramas, where they promise government benefits. Those who leave the party and continue to live their normal lives at home are ineligible to file an FIR because they are unrelated to the party. Because ordinary citizens are unable to file an FIR, the government stated that those who surrender would not face charges.
This was the truth of surrender drama, the statement stated.
