Free Medical Camp and Health Card Enrolment Drive held in Kadangband

The Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Manipur, organised an outreach programme comprising a free medical camp and ABHA and PM-JAY card enrolment drive at the Community Hall of Kadangband Apunba Naharol Club, Kadangband Part II, under Lamsang Sub-Division.

The programme was organised under the aegis of the District Administration, Imphal West, and SDC Lamsang. Around 130 people participated in the camp.

Health Educator M. Meghachandra Meetei from the Department of Community Medicine, RIMS, Imphal, and District TB Officer, Imphal West, Dr Irengbam Homendro Singh, spoke on tuberculosis, oral cancer and preventive measures against various diseases.

Medical tests including blood sugar, haemoglobin, blood grouping, TB and HIV screening, and TB X-ray were conducted. Doctors also provided consultations in general medicine, TB, ENT and eye care, while medicines were distributed to patients requiring treatment.

The camp also facilitated e-KYC and enrolment for Unique Disability ID (UDID) cards for persons with disabilities.
