Imphal, Feb 6:
As part of an ongoing commitment to ensuring accessible healthcare for all, a free health camp was organized today at Moirang Leirak Manung Community Hall as part of a constituency-wide initiative. The camp, organized by the Sagolband Constituency Progressive Committee (SCPC) in association with the Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC), Sagolband, was held under the supervision of MLA Rk Imo Singh and benefited over 100 residents with essential medical services.
The health camp provided free OPD consultations, screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, oral cancer, breast cancer, and cervical cancer, immunizations for children, free medicines, ABHA ID creation, free lab tests, and eye OPD services.
In a statement, MLA Rk Imo Singh said, “Our priority remains the health and well-being of our people. Through these free medical camps, we aim to reach every corner of the constituency, ensuring that no one is deprived of essential healthcare. Moreover, our objective is to bring various government health schemes to every individual at their doorstep, making quality healthcare more accessible. I thank the medical teams and volunteers for their relentless efforts in making this initiative a success.”
This initiative will continue in the coming days, reaching more communities and providing much-needed healthcare services. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of these camps and prioritize their health.
