Imphal, Sept 28:

The Egalitarian Manipur of the Altruist Trust (EMA Trust) has taken full responsibility for facilitating the wife and niece of Y. Kullabi, a victim of a recent attack by Kuki militants in Jiribam. The two women, Y. Bemcha (Kullabi’s wife) and Y. Lasmi (his niece), will be flown to Imphal on September 30 to attend the 128th Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Day cum solidarity event, which will also commemorate the bravehearts.
According to the Trust, flight tickets have been arranged from Silchar to Imphal and back, ensuring that the two women can participate in the memorial event for the sacrifices made on September 30. Y. Kullabi was killed in the militant attack earlier this month, and the Trust stepped in to assist his family members in their journey to the event.
The Trust’s Publicity Secretary explained that Jiribam’s Officer-in-Charge (OC), S. Ibotombi, played a key role in facilitating the safe passage of Kullabi’s family members. The Trust has expressed its gratitude to the OC and plans to acknowledge his assistance formally.
The two women are expected to arrive in Imphal today via an Alliance Air flight. The Trust emphasized that their presence at the memorial event is of great importance, as it aims to honor those who lost their lives.
