Dr. Pratita Charitable Trust celebrates International Yoga Day

The Dr. Pratita Charitable Trust celebrated International Yoga Day at their complex in Khongjom today, marking the global event with a series of activities centered around the theme “Yoga for Self and Society.”
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Ex-Minister and Chairman of Diamond Radio Khongjom, Moirangthem Hemanta Singh; Retired Director of Manipur Remote Sensing Application Centre (MRSAC), Dr. N. Randhir Singh; and Retired Headmasters L. Shyamo Singh, Sh. Gopeshwar Singh, and Th. Kunjeshor Singh.
Students from the Manipur Nursing Institute, Tentha, participated in a yoga demonstration led by Guru Laishram Shyamo from the District Yoga Association (DYA), showcasing various yoga asanas and their benefits.
Diamond Radio Khongjom Chairman Moirangthem Hemanta Singh emphasized the significance of maintaining good health through regular yoga practice. He noted that the celebration of International Yoga Day serves as a reminder of the importance of physical and mental well-being. Hemanta Singh encouraged everyone to integrate yoga into their daily routines, stressing that it can lead to a healthier and happier life.
