CRPF felicitates meritorious students

In a bid to foster community engagement and promote educational excellence, the 86 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Lamphelpat, Imphal, organised a felicitation ceremony to honour three meritorious students who secured top ranks in the Manipur Higher Secondary Examination 2025.
The event was held under the supervision of Sh. Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant of the 86 Battalion, and conducted under the aegis of Sh. R.N. Das, IPS, Inspector General, Manipur and Nagaland Sector, CRPF.
The students who were felicitated included Miss Laikhuram Linthoi Chanu, daughter of Ngangom Sharmila Devi; Miss Naoishekpam Sugandha, daughter of Oinam Kunjarani Devi; and Master Harsh Maisnam, son of Maisnam Pheroja Devi.
As a token of appreciation for their academic achievements, the students were presented with mementoes, floral bouquets, and traditional shawls. The event was attended by CRPF officers and personnel, proud family members of the awardees, and members of the local community.
The felicitation ceremony served as a platform to recognise the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the students. Officials conveyed heartfelt congratulations and words of encouragement, urging the youth to pursue excellence in their respective fields.
Photographs and documentation of the event are being disseminated to inspire other students and to reinforce the CRPF’s image as a people-centric and development-oriented force committed to social responsibility.
