CRPF conducts Civic Action Programme in Noney

The 86 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted a Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Lamdangmei village in Noney district under the aegis of the Inspector General, Manipur-Nagaland Sector, CRPF, and supervision of Commandant Saurabh Kumar Choudhary.

The programme was attended by the village chairman, villagers and youths. Sewing machines with accessories were distributed to villagers as part of the initiative aimed at supporting women’s livelihood and income generation.

Speaking at the programme, Second-in-Command of 86 Battalion CRPF W. Nandini Devi said the distribution of sewing machines was intended to empower women and enhance their livelihood opportunities. She also said such initiatives were aimed at fostering goodwill and strengthening relations between the security force and local communities.

The village chairman and residents appreciated the initiative and expressed hope that similar welfare programmes would continue in the future.
