Imphal, June 9:
In a spirit of environmental awareness and action, the Group Centre of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Imphal has observed World Environment Day from June 5 to 8, 2024.
During the celebration, all ranks and files of the CRPF took an oath to protect and conserve the environment, reaffirming their commitment to environmental sustainability.
As part of the initiative, Canara Bank, in collaboration with HSBC Life Insurance, generously contributed 100 plant saplings to the Central Reserve Police Force members. These saplings were planted in and around the Group Centre, CRPF campus in Langjing, Imphal, during the four-day celebration period.
The event was organized under the supervision of Deputy Commandant (Administration) M. Somorani Devi at the Group Centre, CRPF, Imphal, demonstrating the force’s dedication to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
