Army Agniveer recruitment rally to be conducted in Manipur from September 17 to October 8

An Army Agniveer Recruitment Rally for candidates from all districts of Manipur who have qualified the online written examination will be conducted from September 17 to October 8, 2026, at three locations in the State.

The recruitment rally, organised by the Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar, will be conducted at Peace Ground, Churachandpur; Khuman Lampak Stadium, Imphal; and Sanyi Dahrii Memorial Sports Complex, Karong, Senapati.

The first phase of the recruitment rally will be held at Churachandpur from September 17 to 21, covering candidates from Tengnoupal, Chandel, Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts. The second phase will be held at Imphal from September 25 to 30, covering candidates from Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching, Bishnupur, Noney, Tamenglong and Jiribam districts. The third phase will be conducted at Senapati from October 4 to 8, covering candidates from Senapati, Kangpokpi, Ukhrul and Kamjong districts.

Around 7,500 candidates are expected to participate in the recruitment rally, with approximately 800 candidates being screened each day.

In view of the large number of candidates participating in the rally, necessary arrangements are being coordinated by the Army authorities in consultation with the State Government and concerned district administrations. The arrangements include security and traffic regulation, medical facilities, crowd management, document verification, drinking water, sanitation, temporary shelters, transportation and other essential facilities for the candidates.

The concerned district administrations have been requested to extend necessary assistance and ensure adequate arrangements at the respective rally venues for the smooth and orderly conduct of the recruitment process.

The recruitment rally provides an important opportunity for the youth of Manipur to join the Indian Army and pursue a disciplined and purposeful career. The cooperation of all concerned departments and agencies has been sought for the successful and incident-free conduct of the recruitment rally.

The concerned Deputy Commissioners and officials have been requested to coordinate closely with the Army authorities and extend all necessary assistance for the smooth conduct of the recruitment rally.
