AMSU and other organizations condole demise of social worker Sapam Bimola Devi

The All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU), through its Information and Publicity Secretary Serto Rengneier, expressed deep condolences on the passing of Sapam Bimola Devi, former President of the Thoubal District United Women’s Development Organisation. She was 76 years old and passed away while undergoing treatment at Sky Hospital.
Several other organizations, including Ereipak Enaat Chanura Loinasilon (EECHAL), also mourned her demise, recognizing her long-standing contributions to social welfare in the state. Sapam Bimola Devi had been an active member of JCILPS, UCM, COCOMI, and participated in various initiatives addressing social issues across Manipur.
Her leadership and dedication to women’s development and community welfare have left a lasting impact, and she is remembered as a committed social activist who championed causes for the betterment of society.
