25th Annual Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society, Manipur State Branch inaugurated

The 25th Annual Conference of the Indian Psychiatric Society, Manipur State Branch (MANIPSYCON 2025) was inaugurated today at the JNIMS Auditorium. The conference is being held under the theme “The Future of Psychiatry: Psychiatry in a Changing World.”
The inaugural function was graced by Prof. L. Usharani Devi, Director of JNIMS, as the Chief Guest, while Prof. K. Shantibala Devi, President of IPS, Manipur State Branch, presided over the event. Prof. Kh. Lokeshwar Singh, Medical Superintendent of JNIMS Hospital, and Prof. S. Gyaneshwar Sharma, Former HOD of Psychiatry at RIMS & JNIMS, attended as Guests of Honour.
The annual conference serves as a platform for experts and professionals in the field of psychiatry to discuss advancements, challenges, and the evolving landscape of mental health care. Experts are expected to deliberate on the impact of societal changes on psychiatric practices and explore future directions in the field.
