The army chief of Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF), identified as Jenchui Kamei @ Khanghaimngam Pou , son of Karianglin Pou of Namkaolong Village Khoupum valley in Tamenglong district, who was arrested by a joint team of Army and Assam Police on October 21 from an apartment at Hatigoan Assam was brought back to Imphal and has been remanded in police custody for further investigation.
He was brought back at Imphal in an Indian Airlines Flight at around 2.30 pm today.
