ZUF bandh affects lives

The 72 hours Bandh called by  Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) demanding  a Zeliangrong State  in  Zeliangrong inhabited areas of Assam, Manipur and Nagaland  has begin from the midnight of June 24.  Due to the bandh vehicular traffic along Imphal Jiribam Road (NH 53) remained paralysed also vehicle which was to start from Tamenglong headquarter to other destination has been cancelled. Market activities in Noney area has come to a complete halt however normal activist in Tamenglong headquarter is not completely affected. Following the bandh railway construction work taking places at Tamenglong District is also partly affected, However Tunnelling work in Nungba and Keimai area continue without disruption with the presence of security personnel.
