The Foundation therefore expresses its concern over such serial molestation, raping, killing and sexual harassment of the innocent indigenous women and men from the North East India.The North East Indigenous Peoples living in Delhi and other metropolitans were in search of livelihood, job and for acquiring an in-depth knowledge in the field of education.That, the Indigenous Tribal Girls from the North East India in particular faced numerous problems and difficulties in their daily chores in Delhi since long time back. The molestation, Rapes, harassment and sexual abused of the Indigenous Peoples in the capital of India as well as in the adjacent cities has began to draw the concerns of the mainland. While the UN has promulgated various measures to ensures for the maximum security of Woman and Girl Childs under the Convention on the Elimination of All forms of Discrimination against Woman and Violence and to promote the tenets of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights (UDHR) and yet, the sense of insecurity and fears amongst the Indigenous Women everywhere in the Indian capital city and other metropolitans is largely due to the disrespects and undermining of the Indigenous Tribal peoples and their cultures. Rather, the Indigenous Woman and peoples are now becoming a soft targets at Work places, Highway, Buses and etc.That, Right of the Indigenous Tribal People to Education, to cultural and to economic has been violated by the commission of unabated crimes against Indigenous Tribal Peoples. Every right thinking person and intellectuals is therefore beseech upon to reckon upon their obligation to thwart any act which are detrimental to defaced the trueness of our great Indian democracy. They are also call upon to preserved and protect the freedoms as provided and lay down in the Constitution; announced, promulgated and adopted in various International Human Rights Laws.
