‘Yesterday’s blast is an Act of terrorism’

Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam who is also in charge home today term yesterday’s blast at Khuyathong which killed as an act of terrorism. Condemning the incident, Gaikhangam presented the report of the incident in the ongoing Manipur Legislative Assembly session. He said the blast took place at 6 am and the bomb was an IED triggered using remote control. Gaikhangam said no one has claimed responsibility of the blast but the police are suspecting hands of a valley based UG without mentioning the name of the outfit. He said those involved in the blast will not be spared and will be deal with the law of the land.
