Imphal, April 26: Yumnam Tondonbi Devi aged 13 yrs, third daughter of Y. Prem and Indu Devi studying in class VIII at Gandhi Memorial English School of Phubala, Bishnupur District has been included in the 23 Merit Award Winners in the 28th Lions International Peace Poster Contest for the year 2015-2016 held on the theme SHARE PEACE.
Y. Tondonbi Devi who was sponsored by the Lions Club (LC) of Ningthoukhong was awarded with cash prize of USD 500(Rs. 33,000 approx) and Certificate of Achievement by the Multiple District Council Chairperson on 23 April 2016 at the Lions Multiple Convention held at Durgapur(WB).
She was also honoured with cash award by the Chief Minister of Tripura and District Governor Lion SK Dhar on 27 Feb 2016 at the Lions Annual District Convention held at Agartala.
