Tengnoupal Police team under the supervision of Th. Vikramjit Singh, SP-Tengnoupal and led by Insp. John Lamkang, OC Tengnoupal PS assisted by SI. Monishing arrested two individuals namely Koijam Malemboi (27)S/o (L) K. Khomi Singh of Lamjao Awang Leikai, Kakcking District and Pauminlien Zou(27)S/o (L) Lian Ching Thang of Sajiktampak, Chakpikarong, Chandel District, for transporting contraband WY tablets and recovered around 40000 (forty thousand) WY tablets, a contraband drug on March 5. The weight of the seized WY tablets is 3.986Kg including the weight of small polythene packets (blue in colour). They were transporting the WY tablets in a well schemed City Honda Car bearing registration NO MNO6LA-5238. The said vehicle was also seized.
A case has been taken up at Tengnoupal PS and the arrested persons were produced before the court and remanded into Police custody for 7 days.
