Inaugural function of the Observation of World Population Service Delivery Fortnight was held today at DRDA Conference Hall Thoubal. T Ranjit Singh, DC Thoubal attended as the Chief Guest of the function. The fortnight observation is being organised under the motto ‘Khushhal Parivar ka Mantar, Do Bachcho Mein Teen Saal Ka Antar’. The observance organised by District Health Society Thoubal will go on till July 24 at various part of Thoubal district.
The inaugural function was attended by officials of NRHM Thoubal, Doctors and Nurses of the district hospitals and staff of the CMO Thoubal.
H. Rishikes Sharma, DPM District Health Society, Thoubal in her illustration of the motto stressed on mobilization and awareness of the mass as an important objective of the observation as she went on to highlight Intra Uterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD/CuT), Mala-N, Condoms and E-Pill as fortnight activities that would be carried throughout the blocks of the districts. Tubectomy and Vasectomy were also pointed as the additional activity.
