The Department of Periodontology, Dental College, RIMS, Imphal in association with Indian Dental Association (IDA), Manipur State Branch conducted a workshop on “Basic Life Support” on 27th Dec., 2018 at Mini Auditorium, RIMS, Imphal. The workshop was attended by 200 Dentists from all over Manipur. The faculty of the workshop was Dr. Bishwajeet Elangbam. A mass CPR training of all the participants was the main highlight of the workshop.
Prof. A. Santa Singh, Director, RIMS, Imphal on his inaugural speech appreciated conducting such workshops will benefit not only the Dentists but also the people of Manipur in providing emergency care in accidents. The inaugural function was attended by Prof. Praveen Reddy, Principal, Dental College, RIMS, Imphal, faculty members and students.
