Imphal, April 25: Works minister Thongam Bishworjit has completed his assessment of the progress in construction work of Imphal-Jiribam highway and returned for the state capital early this morning.
The works minister and his entourage traveled till Jiribam on the highway from the state capital yesterday and conducted the inspection. He was accompanied by chief engineer and top officials of public works department.
It may be mentioned that prime minister Narendra Modi will be conducting his own assessment of the construction work of the same highway this afternoon through video conferencing.
