Works Minister inspects Imphal Moreh road

Works Minister Kh Ratankumar and Tengnoupal Assembly constituency MLA K Korungthang along with the staffs of state PWD today inspected the condition of Imphal – Moreh road. Speaking to reporters Works Minister Kh Ratankumar said that government is giving top priority for improving the condition of Imphal Moreh road stretch in NH 2 as this will be the route which will connect the rest of the south East Asia. Ratan said that the Trans Asia High Way will be passing through this route and the government need to prepare keep the condition of the road at its best. The Ministerial team found the condition of the Lokchao Bridge deteriorating. Kh Ratan said that the bridge was constructed during World War 2 and the government has submitted a proposal for converting the bridge into a RCC bridge .
