An organization of women called the Organising Committee of Mass Protest Rally today condemned the used of Chemical weapons against the civilian women protestors at Phaogakchao Ikhai area on August 3 by the Assam Rifles.
The women folk alleged that the Assam Rifles used pepper bombs to disperse the gathering who were protesting the burial plan of the Kuki dead bodies in Torbung area. Many women protestors suffer heart problems and other chemical effects related syndrome from the impact of the pepper bomb.
The womenfolk said that a mass protest will be staged against the Assam Rifles at all places in Manipur tomorrow.
