Large number of protestor demanding introduction of ILP in the state today storm at the residence of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa Assembly Constituency MLA RK Anand at around 1.20 pm. According to report a sit-in-protest was staged today at the Community Hall of Kwakeithel Thokchom Leikai. The sit-in-protest was disperse by a team of police on the ground that district administration had imposed prohibition of gathering more than 3/4 person under section 144 of the CrPC. Later the women folk instead of going back to their home rallied towards the residence of RK Anand. The women folk shouted slogan and demanded the MLA to come out and make his statement. However, as the security guard said that the MLA was not at home as he had gone for a meeting, the womenfolk than return back.
